Biography
Ahmad Basti was a 42-year-old father of two from Chaboksar, Gilan. He was shot by a sniper positioned in the minaret of the market mosque during protests on January 9, 2026. After being hospitalized for nine days, he succumbed to his injuries on January 18, 2026.
احمد باستی، ۴۲ ساله و پدر دو فرزند، اهل چابکسر در استان گیلان بود. وی در ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ با شلیک مستقیم تکتیرانداز از مناره مسجد بازار چابکسر مجروح شد و پس از ۹ روز بستری در بیمارستان، در تاریخ ۲۸ دیماه بر اثر شدت جراحات جان باخت.
