Biography
Akbar Daneshvarkar was a long-time political activist who was involved in Iranian protest movements from the July 1999 student protests through the recent uprisings. After enduring multiple arrests and torture, he was sentenced to death and executed on March 30, 2026. Following his execution, his sisters Akram and Azam were arrested and held in Qarchak Prison for seeking justice.
اکبر دانشورکار زندانی سیاسی و فعال باسابقه بود که از زمان قیام ۱۸ تیر ۱۳۷۸ تا خیزشهای اخیر در صحنه مبارزات حضور داشت. او پس از سالها بازداشت و تحمل شکنجه، سرانجام با حکم اعدام در تاریخ ۱۰ فروردین ۱۴۰۵ جان خود را از دست داد. پس از اعدام وی، خواهران او اکرم و اعظم دانشورکار به دلیل دادخواهی بازداشت و در زندان قرچک زندانی شدند.
