Biography
Ali Heydari Virani was a 20-year-old resident of the Haft-e Tir neighborhood in Mashhad who was arrested by security forces on January 8, 2026. After a month of being held incommunicado, his family was notified by security officials on February 9, 2026, to claim his body. Reports from those close to him indicate that he was killed while in detention.
علی حیدری ویرانی جوان ۲۰ ساله ساکن محله هفت تیر مشهد بود که در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات بازداشت شد. پس از یک ماه بیخبری از وضعیت وی، در تاریخ ۲۰ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ مقامات امنیتی با خانوادهاش تماس گرفته و از آنها خواستند برای تحویل پیکر فرزندشان مراجعه کنند. شواهد و گزارشهای نزدیکان نشان میدهد که او در مدت بازداشت و در بازداشتگاه کشته شده است.
