Biography
Alireza Moghaddam was a 21-year-old elite university student and mathematics prodigy who was killed by security forces on Piroozi Street in Tehran. After being initially wounded, he was shot again at close range, resulting in severe spinal cord injuries and fatal hemorrhaging. A top academic achiever, he reportedly prioritized the freedom of his fellow citizens above his own promising future.
علیرضا مقدم دانشجوی ۲۱ ساله و نخبه ریاضی و فیزیک بود که در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در خیابان پیروزی تهران بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی جان باخت. او پس از زخمی شدن اولیه، بار دیگر از فاصله نزدیک هدف شلیک قرار گرفت که منجر به آسیب شدید نخاعی و خونریزی مرگبار شد. علیرضا که از برترین نخبگان علمی زمان خود بود، آزادی مردم و میهن را بزرگترین اولویت زندگیاش میدانست.
