Biography
Arezoo Abedi was a 50-year-old mountain climber, bodybuilding coach, and mother of two children aged 19 and 25. She was killed on January 9, 2026, when security forces shot her in the head with a military weapon on Bagh-e Daryacheh Street in Isfahan, reportedly in the arms of her children. Her body was held for three days before being secretly buried at night, under the condition of no public ceremony.
آرزو عابدی، کوهنورد، مربی بدنسازی و مادر دو فرزند ۵۰ ساله بود. او در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در خیابان باغ دریاچه اصفهان، بر اثر شلیک مستقیم مأموران جمهوری اسلامی با اسلحه جنگی به سرش و در آغوش فرزندانش کشته شد. پیکر او پس از سه روز گروگانگیری، با شرط عدم برگزاری مراسم عمومی، بهطور مخفیانه و شبانه به خاک سپرده شد.
