Biography
Asal Shafiei, a 21-year-old computer engineering student just one term from graduation, was killed by security forces in Nazi Abad, Tehran, on January 8, 2026. She chose to stand against oppression and not silence her voice. Her last known photo was taken on the day of her death, and she was quoted as saying, "If I don't come back, don't cry for me; be proud of me."
عسل شفیعی، دانشجوی ۲۱ ساله مهندسی کامپیوتر که تنها یک ترم تا پایان تحصیلاتش فاصله داشت، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در نازیآباد تهران توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر کشته شد. او انتخاب کرد که در برابر ظلم بایستد و صدای خود را خاموش نکند. آخرین عکس او در همان روز گرفته شده و گفته بود: «اگر من برنگشتم؛ برایم گریه نکنید، به من افتخار کنید.»
