Biography

Bahar was a two-year-old child who was killed during the January 2026 protests in Neyshabur. Her family was subsequently coerced by state television into participating in a scripted interview. During this interview, a reporter was heard dictating the government's narrative to Bahar's father, characteristic of forced confessions. This aligns with the Islamic Republic's long history of pressuring victims' families to repeat official scenarios, sometimes as a condition for receiving their loved one's body.
