His death occurred in front of his mother, sister, and wife, and his sister later shared heartbreaking words at his birthday memorial ceremony.
احسان مهری، مهندس تاسیسات، بدنساز و کونگفوکار ۳۴ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در زرینشهر استان اصفهان کشته شد. او در جریان اعتراضات انقلابی شیر و خورشید، با شلیک گلوله جنگی و در حالی که قصد کمک به مجروحان را داشت، جان باخت. مرگ او مقابل چشمان مادر، خواهر و همسرش اتفاق افتاد و خواهرش بعداً در مراسم زادروز او سخنانی دردناک به اشتراک گذاشت.
