Biography
Erfan Shakourzadeh was a 29-year-old master's student in Aerospace Engineering – Satellite Technology at Iran University of Science and Technology. He was arrested on charges of espionage by IRGC Intelligence, subjected to torture, and forced into a confession. Shakourzadeh was executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj in May 2026. He wrote a note before his execution, addressing the people of Iran and the international community, stating he was one of the few elites who refused to emigrate.
عرفان شکورزاده، دانشجوی ۲۹ ساله کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی هوافضا – فناوری ماهواره در دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران بود. او به اتهام جاسوسی توسط اطلاعات سپاه بازداشت، شکنجه و به اعتراف اجباری وادار شد. شکورزاده در اردیبهشت ۲۰۲۶ (May 2026) در زندان قزلحصار کرج اعدام شد. او پیش از اعدام، یادداشتی خطاب به مردم ایران و جامعه جهانی نوشت و اعلام کرد که یکی از نخبگان کمی است که حاضر به مهاجرت نشدهاند.
