Biography
Major Farrokhzad Jahangiri was a pilot in the Imperial Iranian Air Force, known for his involvement in the 1980 Nojeh coup plot which aimed to target Ruhollah Khomeini's residence. He was arrested and subsequently executed by the Islamic Republic in July 1980. Jahangiri reportedly uttered defiant final words before his death and is buried in Section 41 of Behesht-e Zahra.
سرگرد فرخزاد جهانگیری، خلبان نیروی هوایی شاهنشاهی بود که به دلیل مشارکت در کودتای نوژه در سال ۱۳۵۹ شناخته میشود. این کودتا با هدف قرار دادن اقامتگاه روحالله خمینی طراحی شده بود. او پس از دستگیری در ژوئیه ۱۹۸۰ توسط جمهوری اسلامی اعدام شد و بنابر گزارشها، کلمات جسورانهای پیش از مرگ بر زبان آورد. جهانگیری در قطعه ۴۱ بهشت زهرا به خاک سپرده شده است.
