Biography
Abolghasem Salami, 52, was killed on January 8, 2026, at Khorasan Square in Tehran during protest movements. He was shot by a plainclothes officer while attempting to rescue three teenagers who were targeted by snipers. Salami succumbed to an embolism after undergoing two surgeries for his injuries.
ابوالقاسم سلامی، ۵۲ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات در میدان خراسان تهران کشته شد. او در تلاش برای نجات سه نوجوان که هدف تکتیراندازان قرار گرفته بودند، مورد اصابت گلوله یک مامور لباسشخصی قرار گرفت. سلامی پس از دو عمل جراحی، بر اثر آمبولی جان باخت.
