غزل دمرچلی، دختری ۱۷ ساله، در شب ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ (۹ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در محله گلشهر کرج کشته شد. او به دست نیروهای امنیتی در جریان اعتراضات ایران جان باخت. از او به عنوان "دختر ایران" و جانفدای میهن یاد میشود که در زادروزش در ۷ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۵ (۲۸ ژوئن ۲۰۲۶) ۱۸ ساله میشد.
