Biography
Habib Khoubipour, a 47-year-old Lor native from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, was a starred student of mathematics and a long-time activist. He was shot in the chest on January 8, 2026, during protests in Isfahan, and succumbed to his injuries two days later on January 10. Khoubipour had actively participated in anti-government protests since 2009 and was consequently barred from pursuing his master's degree.
حبیب خوبیپور، کنشگر و دانشجوی ستارهدار رشته ریاضی، ۴۷ ساله و لرتبار اهل استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد بود. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات اصفهان از ناحیه سینه مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت و دو روز بعد در تاریخ ۲۰ دیماه همان سال بر اثر جراحات وارده جان باخت. خوبیپور از سال ۱۳۸۸ به طور مستمر در اعتراضات مردمی علیه جمهوری اسلامی شرکت داشت و به دلیل فعالیتهایش از ادامه تحصیل در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد محروم شده بود.
