Biography
Hamid Arzanlou was a father of two who was shot in the head by security forces on January 8, 2026, during protests in the Tehranpars neighborhood of Tehran. He fell into a coma and passed away three days later on January 11. His brother Vahid was also killed in the same incident, and their family was reportedly extorted and pressured by security agencies to attribute the deaths to natural causes.
حمید ارزانلو پدر دو فرزند بود که در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله تهرانپارس تهران بر اثر شلیک نیروهای امنیتی به سر مجروح شد و پس از سه روز کما، در ۲۱ دیماه جان باخت. برادر او، وحید نیز که برای کمک به او رفته بود، هدف قرار گرفت و کشته شد. گزارشها حاکی از آن است که نهادهای امنیتی برای تحویل پیکرها از خانواده اخاذی کرده و آنها را تحت فشار قرار دادند تا علت مرگ را سکته مغزی اعلام کنند.
