Biography
Kaveh Eftekhari was a 21-year-old man who was killed on January 9, 2026, during protests in Karaj. He was reportedly shot in the heart by gunfire from the top of a mosque on Qalam Street in Karaj's Shahin Vila neighborhood, allegedly while attempting to assist wounded individuals. He was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Eftekhari was buried in Avaj.
کاوه افتخاری، جوان ۲۱ سالهای بود که در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۹ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در جریان اعتراضات کرج کشته شد. او بنابر گزارشها در حالی که تلاش میکرد به مجروحان کمک کند، با تیراندازی از بالای مسجدی در خیابان قلم شاهینویلای کرج، از ناحیه قلب مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت. او به بیمارستان منتقل شد، اما بر اثر شدت جراحات جان باخت. افتخاری در شهرستان آوج به خاک سپرده شد.
