Biography

Kazem Sami was an Iranian psychiatrist and politician who served as the first Minister of Health after the 1979 revolution and was a member of the first Parliament. He was a co-founder of the Revolutionary Movement of the People of Iran (JAMA). On November 25, 1988, he was assassinated in his clinic by multiple knife wounds in an attack that became part of the political Chain Murders.

کاظم سامی روانپزشک، سیاستمدار و از بنیانگذاران جنبش انقلابی مردم ایران بود که به عنوان نخستین وزیر بهداشت پس از انقلاب و نماینده اولین دوره مجلس فعالیت می‌کرد. او در ۴ آذر ۱۳۶۷ در مطب خود با ضربات ممتد کارد به قتل رسید. این جنایت به عنوان یکی از موارد قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای سیاسی در ایران شناخته می‌شود.
