Biography

Kazem Sami was an Iranian psychiatrist, a founder of the Iranian revolutionary movement, and the first Minister of Health after the 1979 revolution. He also served as a parliamentary representative from Tehran. On November 25, 1988, he was assassinated with continuous knife blows while waiting for his last patient, an event recognized as one of the political chain murders.

کاظم سامی روانپزشک ایرانی، از بنیانگذاران جنبش انقلابی مردم ایران و نخستین وزیر بهداشت پس از انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ بود. او همچنین نماینده مجلس اول از تهران بود. در ۴ آذر ۱۳۶۷، سامی در حالی که منتظر آخرین بیمار خود بود، با ضربات ممتد کارد به قتل رسید. این جنایت به عنوان یکی از قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای سیاسی شناخته می‌شود.
