Biography

Mahdi Salman-Zadeh was killed on November 15, 2019, during the widespread protests in Iran, known as "Aban 98." He is remembered as one of the heroes of the bloody November uprising. His father was documented lighting a candle at his grave in memorial to his son.

مهدی سلمان‌زاده در تاریخ ۱۵ نوامبر ۲۰۱۹ (۲۴ آبان ۱۳۹۸) در جریان اعتراضات گسترده در ایران که به «آبان ۹۸» معروف است، کشته شد. او به عنوان یکی از قهرمانان قیام خونین آبان شناخته می‌شود. پدرش در حال روشن کردن شمعی بر سر مزار او به یادبود فرزندش مستند شده است.
