Biography
Mahmoud Sheykhiyan was a 49-year-old father of two. He was shot and killed by security forces in Shahreza, Isfahan Province, during the January 9, 2026 protests, reportedly in the presence of his 15-year-old daughter. His family, like many others, was denied permission to hold a funeral ceremony.
محمود شیخیان، پدر ۴۹ ساله و دارای دو فرزند بود. او در تاریخ ۹ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ و در شب دوم فراخوان ۱۹ دیماه، در شهرضای استان اصفهان با شلیک گلوله جنگی نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. این اتفاق در حضور دختر ۱۵ سالهاش رخ داد و خانواده او نیز مانند بسیاری از کشتهشدگان، اجازه برگزاری مراسم تشییع را پیدا نکردند.
