Biography
Maryam Arvin was a young lawyer arrested during the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' movement for defending protestors. After a hunger strike, she was released from Sirjan Prison on December 14, 2022. She died suspiciously on February 8, 2023, with allegations that her death was caused by poisoning and drug injections received in detention. She is buried in Kerman and remembered as a martyr for freedom.
مریم آروین وکیل جوانی بود که در جریان خیزش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» به دلیل حمایت قضایی از معترضان بازداشت شد. او پس از اعتصاب غذا، در تاریخ ۲۳ آذر ۱۴۰۱ از زندان سیرجان آزاد شد. مریم در تاریخ ۱۹ بهمن ۱۴۰۱ به طرز مشکوکی جان باخت، و ادعا میشود که مرگ او به دلیل خوراندن سم و تزریقات دارویی در دوران بازداشت بوده است. او در کرمان به خاک سپرده شده و به عنوان شهید راه آزادی یاد میشود.
