Biography
Maryam Barati was a 63-year-old resident of Fardis who was killed during the Iranian protest movements. She died on January 9, 2026, after being targeted by direct gunfire from Islamic Republic security agents. She is remembered as a martyr within the movement for freedom in Iran.
مریم براتی، زنی ۶۳ ساله و اهل فردیس بود که در جریان جنبشهای اعتراضی ایران جان خود را از دست داد. او در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر شلیک مستقیم مأموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. نام وی به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان راه آزادی در آرشیوهای حقوق بشری ثبت شده است.
