Biography
Mehdi Babarnezhad was killed by government forces in Quchan, Razavi Khorasan Province, during the 2022 nationwide protests in Iran. He is documented as one of the victims of the state's crackdown on protesters. He is honored as a 'martyr of the nation' within human rights archives.
مهدی ببرنژاد در جریان اعتراضات سراسری سال ۱۴۰۱ در شهر قوچان واقع در استان خراسان رضوی توسط نیروهای حکومتی کشته شد. نام او به عنوان یکی از جانباختگان سرکوبهای دولتی در اسناد حقوق بشری ثبت شده است. از وی به عنوان یکی از «کشتهشدگان وطن» یاد میشود.
