Biography
Mehdi Eskandarian was a 44-year-old father of two from Fardis, Karaj, who was shot in the head by security forces on January 9, 2026, while reportedly helping wounded protesters. He succumbed to his injuries on January 12, 2027, at Noor Hospital in Shahriar after being hospitalized for a year. His family faced significant pressure from security agencies to falsely identify him as a member of the government forces.
مهدی اسکندریان، پدر ۴۴ ساله دو فرزند و اهل فردیس کرج، در ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به سرش مجروح شد. او که بنا بر گزارشها هنگام کمک به مجروحان هدف قرار گرفته بود، پس از تحمل یک سال جراحات ناشی از این حادثه، در تاریخ ۲۲ دی ۱۴۰۵ در بیمارستان نور شهریار جان باخت. خانواده وی برای عدم اعلام نام او به عنوان معترض و انتساب او به نیروهای حکومتی تحت فشار شدید امنیتی قرار داشتند.
