Biography
Mehdi Jowzi was a 20-year-old athlete, professional bodybuilder, and goalkeeper, who was also the breadwinner for his family. On the evening of January 8, 2026, in Karaj, he was fatally shot in the abdomen by direct fire while assisting wounded protesters. He succumbed to his injuries two days later, on January 10, 2026.
مهدی جوزی ورزشکاری ۲۰ ساله، بدنساز حرفهای و دروازهبان بود که نانآور خانوادهاش نیز محسوب میشد. او شامگاه ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در کرج، در حالی که به مجروحان کمک میکرد، با شلیک مستقیم گلوله به شکم هدف قرار گرفت. وی دو روز بعد، در تاریخ ۲۰ دی ۱۴۰۴، بر اثر جراحات وارده جان باخت.
