Biography
Mehdi Rahimi, a 32-year-old patriotic athlete, was killed in January 2026 during Iranian protest movements. He died after being shot by individuals described in one report as "terrorists of the Islamic Republic". Conflicting accounts state his last name as Rahmati or Rahimi, and report his death occurred on January 8th in Tehran or January 9th in Dezful.
مهدی رحیمی، ورزشکار میهنپرست سیودو ساله، در دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات ایران کشته شد. او بر اثر شلیک گلوله افرادی که در یک گزارش "تروریستهای جمهوری اسلامی" توصیف شدهاند، جان باخت. گزارشهای متناقض نام خانوادگی او را رحمتی یا رحیمی، و محل و تاریخ فوت او را ۱۸ دی در تهران یا ۱۹ دی در دزفول ذکر میکنند.
