Biography
Mehrzad Nazari was a 28-year-old man killed on January 8, 2026, during the Iranian protest movements. He sustained a direct war bullet wound to his chest in Noorabad Mamasani, allegedly at the hands of security forces. To avoid arrest, he was then transferred to Bardangan Village, where he tragically succumbed to severe bleeding due to a lack of medical facilities. His final wish was for music and joy at his grave, not prayers or Quran.
مهرزاد نظری، جوانی ۲۸ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ (۸ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ایران کشته شد. او در نورآباد ممسنی هدف گلوله مستقیم جنگی به سینه قرار گرفت که گفته میشود توسط نیروهای امنیتی شلیک شده بود. مهرزاد برای جلوگیری از بازداشت به روستای بردنگان منتقل شد، اما به دلیل خونریزی شدید و نبود امکانات درمانی، در همانجا جان باخت. آخرین خواستهاش این بود که بر مزارش نماز و قرآن خوانده نشود، بلکه موسیقی و شادی باشد.
