Biography
Mohammad Javad Zahedi was an 18-year-old killed by direct gunfire from security forces in Sari during the 2022 'Woman, Life, Freedom' protests. His mother, Mahsa Yazdani, became a prominent figure in the justice movement and was subsequently sentenced to prison for her advocacy. He is memorialized as a 'Javidnam' (immortal) of the uprising.
