Mohammad Javad Zahedi was an 18-year-old protester killed during the 2022 nationwide protests in Iran, also known as the Woman Life Freedom movement. He was shot by direct gunfire from security forces in Sari. His mother, Mahsa Yazdani, has faced imprisonment and electronic monitoring for her activism and seeking justice for his death.
