Biography
Mohammad Mokhtari was a prominent Iranian poet, writer, and researcher who was an active member of the Iranian Writers' Association. On December 3, 1998, he was kidnapped after leaving his home to go shopping. He was subsequently murdered as part of the state-sponsored political assassinations known as the Chain Murders of Iran.
محمد مختاری شاعر، نویسنده، مترجم، پژوهشگر و از اعضای فعال کانون نویسندگان ایران بود. او در ۱۲ آذر ۱۳۷۷ پس از خروج از منزل برای خرید ربوده شد و در جریان ترورهای سیاسی موسوم به قتلهای زنجیرهای به قتل رسید.
