Biography
Mojtaba Ghanaati Khelari was a student protester arrested in Shiraz on December 30, 2022, for writing slogans. His family reported that he died that same day while under torture in custody. His lifeless body was later found abandoned in a desert, and news of his death was given to his family on January 4, 2023. Authorities denied responsibility, claiming "poisoning" or a "heart attack," but his death is commemorated as a state-sponsored killing.
مجتبی قناعتی خلاری، دانشجوی معترض، در ۹ دی ۱۴۰۱ به اتهام شعارنویسی در شیراز بازداشت شد و خانوادهاش گزارش دادند که او همان روز در بازداشتگاه و تحت شکنجه جان باخت. پیکر بیجان او بعدها در بیابانی رها شده پیدا شد و خبر درگذشت او در ۱۴ دی ۱۴۰۱ به خانوادهاش داده شد. مقامات مسئولیت این مرگ را انکار کرده و علت آن را «مسمومیت» یا «سکته قلبی» اعلام کردند، اما مرگ او به عنوان قتلی حکومتی گرامی داشته میشود.
