Mojtaba Ghorbani, 34, from Pir Bazar, Rasht, was killed on January 8, 2026, during protests in Rasht. He was shot from behind by Islamic Republic security forces. مجتبی قربانی، ۳۴ ساله و اهل پیربازار رشت، در تاریخ ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات رشت کشته شد. او از پشت سر توسط نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت. بر اساس گزارشها، قربانی در زمان مرگش در حال تلاش برای کمک به یک معترض زخمی بود که در نزدیکی محل درگیری هدف تیراندازی قرار گرفته بود.
