Biography
Mona Esmi was a 38-year-old mother from Rasht, Gilan province. She was killed on January 8, 2026, during protests, when she was shot in the heart from behind by Islamic Republic security forces. Mourned as a "Javidnam" and a martyr for freedom, her memorial video includes images with her son Amirali and scenes from her funeral. Her grave, along with others, was later vandalized by regime forces.
مونا اسمی، مادر ۳۸ ساله اهل رشت، استان گیلان بود. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات، با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی از پشت به قلبش کشته شد. او به عنوان «جاویدنام» و شهید راه آزادی شناخته میشود و ویدیوی یادبود او شامل تصاویری با فرزندش امیرعلی و صحنههایی از مراسم خاکسپاریاش است. سنگ مزار او، به همراه دیگر جاویدنامان، بعداً توسط مزدوران رژیم تخریب شد.
