Biography
Omid Safarzehi was a 17-year-old undocumented child laborer and potter living in Zahedan. Despite facing significant hardships and being deprived of an official birth certificate, he was known for his resilient spirit and constant smile. He was killed by a direct gunshot to the head by security forces on September 30, 2022, in the Shirabad neighborhood during the protests.
امید صفرزهی، نوجوان ۱۷ ساله و کودک کار فاقد شناسنامه اهل زاهدان بود که برای امرار معاش به حرفه سفالگری اشتغال داشت. او علیرغم زندگی سختی که به دلیل نداشتن شناسنامه و ترک تحصیل در کلاس هفتم داشت، در تمام عکسهایش لبخند بر لب داشت. امید در ۸ مهر ۱۴۰۱ در جریان اعتراضات محله شیرآباد زاهدان، بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به سرش کشته شد.
