رضا اسدی ۳۰ ساله در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در شهر گرگان بر اثر شلیک مستقیم گلولههای جنگی توسط ماموران امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. از او در یادبودها به عنوان «فرزند ایران» و «جانفدای میهن» یاد شده است.
