Biography
Sanam Pourbabaei, a 26-year-old violinist and devoted music teacher from Siahkal, was killed on January 8, 2026, after being shot directly by security forces near the Lahijan governorate. She was reportedly shot on the same night she had a concert. Her burial took place in Barfjan Cemetery in Siahkal, and she is remembered as a "Javidnam" (martyr for the homeland) by family and friends who held memorials in Lahijan.
صنم پوربابایی، نوازنده ویولن و معلم موسیقی ۲۶ ساله و متعهد اهل سیاهکل، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ (۸ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) در نزدیکی فرمانداری لاهیجان با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. گزارش شده است که او در همان شبی که کنسرتی داشت، هدف گلوله قرار گرفت. او در بقعه برفجان سیاهکل به خاک سپرده شد و توسط خانواده و دوستانش که مراسم یادبودی در لاهیجان برگزار کردند، به عنوان «جاویدنام» و جانفدای میهن یاد میشود.
