Biography
Sara Deldar was a 32-year-old political prisoner in Rasht. She was injured by pellet gunshots while aiding wounded protesters during the 2022 uprising, subsequently enduring months of imprisonment, torture, and physical and psychological abuse in Lakan Prison. She died on September 10, 2024, due to infections from her wounds. She once wrote, "Everything, and a hundred times more, is too little for the homeland."
سارا دلدار، زندانی سیاسی ۳۲ ساله در رشت بود. او در جریان خیزش ۱۴۰۱ در حین کمک به مجروحین با تفنگ ساچمهای مجروح شد و پس از آن، ماهها در زندان لاکان تحت حبس، شکنجه، و آزار جسمی و روحی قرار گرفت. او در تاریخ ۱۰ سپتامبر ۲۰۲۴ بر اثر عفونت ناشی از همان جراحات جان باخت. او نوشته بود: «همه ی چیزها و صد برابرش برای وطن کمه.»
