Biography
Setayesh Shafiee was a 21-year-old who grew up in the welfare system and had recently begun her independent life. On January 8, 2026, she was shot and killed in Khorasan Square, Tehran, while attempting to save the life of a 16-year-old boy. She is remembered as a 'Javidnam' for her courage and self-sacrifice.
ستایش شفیعی ۲۱ ساله بود و در مراکز بهزیستی بزرگ شده بود و به تازگی زندگی مستقل خود را آغاز کرده بود. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در میدان خراسان تهران، در حالی که برای نجات جان یک نوجوان ۱۶ ساله تلاش میکرد، هدف شلیک گلوله قرار گرفت و کشته شد. نام او به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان راه آزادی ثبت شده است.
