Biography
Setayesh Shafiei Tafreshi was a 20-year-old woman killed on January 9, 2026, during protests in Khorasan Square, Tehran. She lived alone and had previously been under the coverage of the Tehran Welfare Organization. She was shot by security forces when she stopped to help a child who had fallen during the protest.
