Biography
Sina Lavasani was a 17-year-old from Tehran who was killed by government security forces on January 9, 2026, after being shot in the back of the head during protests on Zakaria Razi Street in Shahr-e Rey. Tragic circumstances surrounded his death, as he was shot just two days before his birthday and his burial ceremony took place on the night he would have celebrated his birthday. Having lost his mother as a child, Sina was described by his family as a brave youth who 'fought like a lion' for his convictions.
سینا لواسانی نوجوان ۱۷ ساله اهل تهران بود که در شب ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای حکومتی به پشت سر در خیابان زکریا رازی شهرری جان باخت. او که تنها دو روز پیش از سالروز تولدش کشته شد، در شب تولدش به خاک سپرده شد. سینا که در کودکی مادر خود را از دست داده بود، توسط خانوادهاش به عنوان نوجوانی شجاع توصیف شده که با رشادت در اعتراضات حضور یافته بود و از مردم خواستهاند که اجازه ندهند نام او در سکوت فراموش شود.
