Biography
Sobhan Marzban, also known as Majid, was a 22-year-old originally from Azna who was killed by security forces during protests in Islamshahr. On January 9, 2026, he was shot twice in the head and back at Ghaemieh Square; his body was subsequently moved to Kahrizak after the hospital refused to provide information to his family. To receive his body, his family was forced to sign a statement attributing the killing to foreign agents and agreed to hold a restricted funeral with fewer than 50 people.
سبحان مرزبان (معروف به مجید)، جوان ۲۲ ساله و اصالتاً اهل ازنا، در جریان اعتراضات دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در اسلامشهر با شلیک مستقیم مأموران حکومتی جان باخت. او در ۱۹ دی در فلکه اول قائمیه از پشت سر و کمر مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت و پیکرش پس از انتقال به کهریزک، تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به خانواده تحویل داده شد. نهادهای امنیتی خانواده او را مجبور به امضای تعهدی مبنی بر انتساب قتل به عوامل خارجی کردند و مراسم خاکسپاری او در دارالسلام اسلامشهر با محدودیتهای فراوان و بدون اجازه اطلاعرسانی برگزار شد.
