Biography
Yalda Aghafazli was a 19-year-old artist arrested on Enghelab Street during the 2022 protests. Known for her refusal to express regret or 'repentance' to her interrogators, she died suspiciously at home on November 11, 2022, just days after her release from Qarchak Prison. Following her death, her family faced significant government pressure regarding her memorial services.
یلدا آقافضلی هنرمند ۱۹ سالهای بود که در جریان اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ در خیابان انقلاب تهران بازداشت شد. او به دلیل امتناع از ابراز پشیمانی در دوران بازداشت مورد تحسین قرار گرفت و در ۲۰ آبان ۱۴۰۱، تنها چند روز پس از آزادی از زندان قرچک، به طرز مشکوکی در خانه جان باخت. خانواده او برای برگزاری مراسم یادبود تحت فشارهای شدید امنیتی قرار داشتند.
