Biography
Yashar Soltani Rad, a 26-year-old wrestler from Tehran, was killed on January 9, 2026, in Mehrabad Jonubi, Tehran. He was shot in the chest with a Kalashnikov by Basij forces, identified as Hojjatollah Selseleh-Jou and Hossein Allah Karam. Soltani Rad had about five years of experience in wrestling. His family reported that before leaving home, he told his mother and brother that he was going so that all his brothers and sisters could live in a free and beautiful Iran.
جاویدنام یاشار سلطانیراد، کشتیگیر ۲۶ ساله اهل تهران، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله مهرآباد جنوبی تهران کشته شد. او توسط نیروهای بسیج، از جمله حجتالله سلسلهجو و حسین اللهکرم، با شلیک مستقیم کلاشینکف به سینه جان باخت. سلطانیراد حدود پنج سال سابقه فعالیت در رشته کشتی داشت. خانوادهاش نقل کردهاند که یاشار پیش از خروج از خانه به مادر و برادرش گفته بود که برای زندگی آزاد و زیبای همه خواهران و برادرانش میرود.
