Biography
Yashar Soltani Rad was a 26-year-old wrestling champion with five years of experience who was killed on January 9, 2026, in the Mehrabad Jonubi neighborhood of Tehran. He died after being shot in the chest with a Kalashnikov by Basij security forces during the protests. Before leaving home, he reportedly told his family he was participating in the movement so that future generations could live in a free and beautiful Iran.
یاشار سلطانیراد، قهرمان ۲۶ ساله کشتی تهران با ۵ سال سابقه ورزشی، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله مهرآباد جنوبی تهران با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای بسیج جان باخت. او بر اثر اصابت گلوله کلاشینکف به قفسه سینه توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر کشته شد. یاشار پیش از خروج از خانه به مادر و برادرش گفته بود که برای رسیدن به ایرانی آزاد و زیبا برای تمامی خواهران و برادرانش میرود.
