Biography
Zohayr Rahimi was a 36-year-old killed on January 8, 2026, by government agents who shot him in the back and used chemical gas. After eight days of threats against his family, his body was released and buried without a ceremony in a boulevard at the entrance of the Najafabad cemetery. He was laid to rest in a solitary manner between two pine trees because authorities refused to allow his burial in the standard sections of the Hajiabad cemetery.
زهیر رحیمی ۳۶ ساله در شب ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر اصابت گلوله جنگی به کمر و خفگی ناشی از گاز شیمیایی توسط ماموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. پیکر او پس از هشت روز تهدید و فشار امنیتی، بدون برگزاری مراسم و به شکلی غریبانه در بلوار ورودی مزار نجفآباد، بین دو درخت کاج به خاک سپرده شد. نهادهای مسئول اجازه تدفین وی را در هیچیک از قطعات مزار حاجیآباد ندادند.
