Biography
Artin Rahmani was a 14-year-old from Izeh who was killed by direct gunfire from government security forces during the Woman Life Freedom protests. Before his death, he left a poignant note for his mother expressing his willingness to sacrifice his youth for the cause. Despite state pressure to bury him as a government 'martyr,' his family refused, and mourners famously removed and tore the Islamic Republic flag placed on his casket by authorities.
آرتین رحمانی نوجوان ۱۴ ساله اهل ایذه بود که در شامگاه ۲۵ آبان ۱۴۰۱ در جریان اعتراضات سراسری با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی جان باخت. او پیش از کشته شدن در یادداشتی برای مادرش نوشته بود که در راهی قدم میگذارد که شاید جوانیاش را نبیند. با وجود فشارهای امنیتی برای تدفین او به عنوان «شهید» حکومتی، خانوادهاش مقاومت کردند و در روز تشییع، مردم پرچم جمهوری اسلامی را که توسط مأموران روی پیکر او کشیده شده بود، برداشته و پاره کردند.
