Biography
Danesh Rahnama was a 22-year-old stonemason and father to a young daughter named Joanna from Balu village, Urmia. Following the killing of his close friend Farjad Darvishi by security forces on September 20, 2022, Danesh joined the protests to seek justice and was himself shot and killed by government forces the following day. He is remembered for his bravery and his deep devotion to his family and friends.
دانش رهنما، ۲۲ ساله و سنگکار ساختمان اهل روستای بالوی ارومیه، پدر دختری خردسال به نام جوآنا بود. پس از کشته شدن دوست صمیمیاش فرجاد درویشی در جریان اعتراضات، دانش برای خونخواهی او برخاست و در ۳۰ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ به ضرب گلوله نیروهای حکومتی جان باخت. او به عنوان پدری مهربان و رفیقی فداکار که جانش را در راه آزادی فدا کرد، در یادها مانده است.
