Biography
Farjad Darvishi was a father and resident of Balu village in Urmia who was killed by government security forces on September 20, 2022, during the nationwide protests. Following his death, his family faced continued harassment from the state, including the imprisonment of his brother, Sayyad Darvishi, and the desecration of his grave by IRGC forces who erased Kurdish poetry and the word 'Martyr' from his tombstone.
فرجاد درویشی، پدر و ساکن روستای بالو در ارومیه، در ۲۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ در جریان اعتراضات سراسری توسط نیروهای حکومتی کشته شد. پس از جان باختن او، خانوادهاش با فشارهای امنیتی متعددی روبرو شدند، از جمله بازداشت برادرش صیاد درویشی و تخریب سنگ مزار او توسط نیروهای سپاه پاسداران که اقدام به پاک کردن اشعار کُردی و واژه «شهید» از روی مزار وی کردند.
