Biography
Farjad Darvishi was killed by government forces on September 20, 2022, in Balu village, Urmia, during the nationwide Woman Life Freedom protests. He left behind children, who, along with their mothers, commemorated him at his grave. His brother, Sayyad Darvishi, was later imprisoned. In February 2024, IRGC forces reportedly defaced Darvishi's grave, erasing the word 'Martyr' and Kurdish poetry.
فرجاد درویشی در ۲۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ در روستای بالو ارومیه توسط نیروهای حکومتی در جریان اعتراضات سراسری «زن زندگی آزادی» کشته شد. او فرزندانی از خود به یادگار گذاشت که همراه با مادرانشان بر سر مزارش یاد او را گرامی داشتند. برادر او، صیاد درویشی، بعدها زندانی شد. در بهمن ۱۴۰۲، نیروهای سپاه پاسداران گزارشاً مزار درویشی را تخریب کرده و واژه «شهید» و اشعار کردی را از آن پاک کردند.
