Biography
Sara Saeedi was a 39-year-old mother of two daughters from Mashhad. She was killed on January 9, 2026, in the Emamat neighborhood of Mashhad, when security forces shot her in the head and face during protests. Following her death, government-affiliated bodies attempted to appropriate her image due to her hijab, but her family resisted these efforts and denied their false claims about her cause of death.
سارا سعیدی، مادر ۳۹ سالهی دو دختر اهل مشهد، در ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در منطقه امامت مشهد در جریان اعتراضات با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به سر و صورتش جان باخت. پس از جانباختنش، نهادهای وابسته به حکومت به دلیل حجاب او تلاش کردند نام و تصویرش را مصادره کنند، اما خانوادهاش در برابر این تحریف ایستادند و دروغهای حکومتی درباره علت مرگش را رد کردند.
